Recipe Ingredients for Bev's Tandori Chicken

1 cup yogurt, fat free
1 onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch cloves
1 1/2 cup chicken breast, meat only, diced

Recipe Directions for Bev's Tandori Chicken

  1. Stir together yogurt, onion and garlic in a shallow glass dish. Add lemon juice, cilaantro, paprika, cumin, curry powder, ginger, salt, papper, cinnamon and cloves. Add chicken and coat well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  2. Preheat oven to 500 F. Coat a wire rack with cooking spray and set it over a foil-covered baking sheet. Placethe chicken on the prepared rack.

  3. Bake the chicken until browned and no traceof pink remains in the center, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot.
