Recipe Ingredients for Bev's Cornbread

1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup egg beaters
1 cup buttermilk, lowfat
3 tbs. canola oil

Recipe Directions for Bev's Cornbread

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. If using the skillet, spray it with canola oil and put it in the oven now.

  3. If using muffin tins, spray with oil or use cupcake papers.

  4. Mix all the dry ingredients. In another little bowl mix all the wet ingredients. Pour the wet into the dry and mix until just mixed.

  5. Pour into baking container and bake about 20-25 min.
