These are really easy to make and an awesome on-the-go breakfast!

Recipe Ingredients for Betty's Apple cinnamon muffins

3/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped apple
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Betty's Apple cinnamon muffins

  1. Heat oven to 400F. Grease or line muffin tins.

  2. In large bowl mix milk, apple sauce and egg until well mixed.

  3. Stir in flour,sugar,baking powder and salt just until moistened.

  4. Fold in cinnamon and apples. divide into muffin tins.

  5. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden but still soft.
