Recipe Ingredients for Better for you Oatmeal Cookies

4 oz Butter
1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.75 cup Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour
1 serving Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1.5 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1/2 cup (not packed) Raisins, Seedless

Recipe Directions for Better for you Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. beat butter and sugar until creamy

  3. add eggs and vanilla and beat well

  4. add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and mix well

  5. add oats and raisins and mix well

  6. drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet

  7. bake 8-11 minutes until golden but soft

  8. cool for one minutes and remove to wire rack

  9. makes about 27 cookies.
