1/2 tbsp olive oil
3/4 lb parsnip
3/4 lb carrots
6 cloves garlic
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
8 oz Port

Recipe Directions for Better Homes and Gardens Slow Cooked Pork with Parsnips and Pears

  1. Brown meat on stove top.

  2. Place sliced veggies in slow cooker. Layer Pork on top (whole or in pieces). Add Aromatics and pour port over. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
