The lower fat, healthier version of my favorite recipe banana bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Better Choice Banana Bread

1/4 lb. unsalted butter
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c eggbeaters
1 1/2 c flour
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 c banana, mashed
1/2 c light sour cream
1 t vanilla

Recipe Directions for Better Choice Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Butter 9x5x3 loaf pan.

  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggbeaters. Beat well.

  3. Sift dry ingredients together, and add to butter mixture. Blend well.

  4. Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Stir well.

  5. Pour into cake pan.

  6. Bake 1 hour. Cool on wire rack.
