Canning recipe for spicy dilly beans, as always make sure lid pops when you first open them to make sure they were properly sealed.

Recipe Ingredients for Betsy's Dilly Beans

3 lbs green beans
1 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
6 cloves garlic
2 tbsp dill seed
3 1/4 cup vinegar
3 1/4 cup water
6 tbsp salt

Recipe Directions for Betsy's Dilly Beans

  1. Cut engs and pack into 6 jars

  2. put in each jar 1 garlic clove, 1 dill head or 1 tsp dill seed, .25 tsp cayenne pepper

  3. bring to boil: Vinegar, water and salt

  4. Pour over beans until jar has .5 inch at top

  5. cap jars

  6. place in boiling water bath for 10 minutes to seal

  7. ready in 2 weeks - turn jar to mix pepper
