The ideal blend of taste and health though perhaps a bit excessive with the cream. Substitute for milk for a less overwhelming option.

Recipe Ingredients for Best Porridge

1/2 c rolled oats
1/4 c cream
1 c water
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp raw bran
1 tbsp sultanas
1 banana
1/8 c milk

Recipe Directions for Best Porridge

  1. Add cinnamon and bran at the bottom of a microwave safe bowl

  2. Add sugar, sultanas and oats

  3. Add cream and water mixed

  4. Microwave for 1.5 min then stir

  5. Microwave for additional 1 min

  6. Add banana chopped up with your spoon

  7. Add milk to cool and stir
