Great, I only make 8 servings for special occasions, they're huge, which is fun.

Recipe Ingredients for Best home made rolls EVER

5 cups all purpose flour
5 tsp yeast
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup water
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter

Recipe Directions for Best home made rolls EVER

  1. Heat milk, water, salt, sugar and yeast in a small sauce pan unitl warm to the touch.

  2. Measure flour into a large bowl. Make a well in the middle.

  3. Add egg to milk/yeast mixture. wisk together until one color.

  4. Pour the wet team into the dry team well. DO NOT MIX. Cover and let rest 20-30 minutes.

  5. Melt butter, add to mixture. Mix well and knead lightly adding flour if the dough is too sticky. Cover and let rest 30 minutes.

  6. Divide into rolls, forming and setting onto a cookie sheet. Cover an let rest 20-30 minutes. Prehet oven to 400 deg F.

  7. Bake 13-16 minutes, until golden brown and hollow sounding when thumped.

  8. Serve warm or cooled. Great for sandwiches if made in fewer servings.
