Recipe Ingredients for Best Ever Banana Muffins

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup canola oil
1 1/2 cup banana, mashed
3 tbsp butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Best Ever Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.

  3. Thouroughly beat together egg, sugar, applesauce, oil and banana.

  4. Add to dry ingredients.

  5. Stir until just moistened.

  6. Fill greased or lined muffin cups three quaters full.

  7. Bake 20 -25 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
