5 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups light olive oil
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 teaspoons almond extract
4 eggs
1/2 cup toasted almonds
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup coconut
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup candied ginger
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Best Cookies

  1. combine oil and sugars

  2. Add flavorings, eggs

  3. Mix flour with oats, bs, and salt

  4. Mix together and divide into four portions

  5. Possible combinations: dark chocolate and toasted almonds; white chocolate and macadamia nuts; cranberries and coconut, ginger and almonds

  6. each portion should make 24 cookies
