Recipe Ingredients for Best Bruschetta

1 1/2 c tomatoes
0.74 c onions
2 1/2 tbsp garlic
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 c basil, fresh
1/2 tsp salt
1 dash pepper

Recipe Directions for Best Bruschetta

  1. Chop all items - go for about 1/2 in to 3/4 in pieces.

  2. Heat olive oil in pan and sautee garlic and onions at medium heat.

  3. Add tomatoes and basil, bring temperature up to high for about 1 minutes while stirring furiously to keep stuff from sticking.

  4. Bring down to a simmer and allow to cook for 10 minutes - stirring occasionaly.

  5. Serve hot or cold on bread or atop grilled or pan-seared meat.
