Recipe Ingredients for Best Broccoli of your Life

1 bunch Broccoli
3.5 1tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Kosher Salt
2 clove Garlic
0.33 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1.5 tbsp Pine Nuts, Pignolia, Dried
1 fruit without seeds Lemons
1 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
0.5 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Best Broccoli of your Life

  1. You preheat the oven to 425

  2. Make sure broccoli is VERY dry. Skip washing it, or if you do wash it, be sure to dry it VERY well.

  3. Cut broccoli into large florets.

  4. Put the broccoli in a big bowl for mixing. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.

  5. Now add the 2 garlic cloves that are peeled and sliced and toss some more.

  6. Place on cookie sheet (use foil under it if you want).

  7. Roast in the oven 20 to 25 minutes, until crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned. Add pine nuts a couple of minutes before taking the broccoli out of the oven (skip the pine nuts if you prefer)

  8. When it?s done, take it out of the oven (and here?s where it gets really good) zest a lemon over the broccoli, squeeze the lemon juice over the broccoli, add 1 Tbs more olive oil, and 1/3 (or less) cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

  9. Serve!
