Recipe Ingredients for Best Banana Bread

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 bananas
1 c. chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Best Banana Bread

  1. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs.

  2. Add ripe bananas.

  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt.

  4. Add chocolate chips and/or nuts.

  5. This makes 1 large loaf. Double recipe makes 3 small loaves.

  6. Bake at 325F for 60 to 80 minutes, or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.

  7. Cool 30 minutes before removing from pan.

  8. Wrap well. Freezer friendly.
