A yummy alternative to the store bought syrups. This is as close as it gets with a low-carb syrup. You can just use any type of sugar in place of SuCaNat. SuCaNat is evaporated sugar cane juice without anything removes. Sugar in the rawest state.

Recipe Ingredients for Berry Syrup

1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup blackberries
1 cup strawberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup SuCaNat

Recipe Directions for Berry Syrup

  1. Put all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

  2. When the mixture comes to a boil mash berries with a fork and continue to boil for about 3 to 5 more minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and let cool. the syrup will thicken as it cools.
