Berry Sorbet Recipe

Makes 8 servings



This refreshing sorbet is quick and easy to prepare, and needs just a couple of hours to harden. If it becomes too hard to scoop when you want to serve it, bring it out of the freezer for 10-15 minutes to soften a little.

Recipe Ingredients for Berry Sorbet

1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
2 cups strawberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Berry Sorbet

  1. Place berries in a blender with water, sugar and salt. Puree until smooth.

  2. Pour berry mixture through a sieve into a container suitable for the freezer.

  3. Freeze berry mixture until firm, about 2 hours, depending on dimensions of container.

  4. Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving.

  5. Makes about 4 cups.
