Recipe Ingredients for bengali poha (chirer polao)

1 cup Cereal
2 tsp Soy Oil
1/2 potato small (1-3/4 to 2-1/2" dia) Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin
1/2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3/10 oz Peppers
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
3 g Turmeric Powder
1 dash Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for bengali poha (chirer polao)

  1. 1. heat oil to medium

  2. 2. fry chopped onions and diced potatoes for 5 mins.

  3. 3. add peanuts.

  4. 4. add green chilly,salt, sugar, turmeric and fry on medium heat for a couple of minutes.

  5. 5. wash rice flakes, squeeze excess water and add softened flakes to pan.

  6. 6. stir well to coat flakes with spices.cook for 3 minutes.

  7. 7. check seasoning.

  8. 8. serve hot with ketchup.
