My ultimate belgian waffle recipe. Great for freezing - just pop in the toaster oven straight from the freezer for warm, crispy deliciousness!

Recipe Ingredients for Belgian Waffles

1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup skim milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg, separated
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Belgian Waffles

  1. Beat egg white till stiff peaks form; save for later.

  2. Combine dry ingredients, then add in the wet ingredients and mix just until combined. Using a wisk, fold in the egg whites.

  3. Pour 1/3 of batter into preheated waffle iron; cook and enjoy!
