Recipe Ingredients for beets, two-way street

8 ounces beets
10 ounces greens
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons cranberry juice
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon butter

Recipe Directions for beets, two-way street

  1. wash and cut baby beets into wedges

  2. steam beets for 20-30 minutes

  3. toss in melted butter and juice

  4. saute beet stems (3 inch pieces) in hot sesame oil for 4-5 minutes

  5. add greens (coarsely chopped) and turn until wilted

  6. remove from heat and stir in soy sauce

  7. serve with bed of greens/stems topped with beets
