Recipe Ingredients for Beefy Tomato Soup (Italian style)

32 ounces tomatoes
1 onion
3 clove garlic
1 bell pepper
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cups tomato juice
10 ounces tomatoe paste
2 lbs venison, ground
1 cup chickpeas

Recipe Directions for Beefy Tomato Soup (Italian style)

  1. Brown ground meet (I use venison because it so much leaner than beef)

  2. Drain meat and return to pot

  3. Add diced peppers, onion and garlic - continue to brown until translucent

  4. Add the rest of ingredients and spice with basil and oregano to taste. Simmer until vegetables are soft to your liking.
