Description: healthy, full of veggies, and lean sirloin beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Vegetable Stir Fry

1 lb sirloin beef, cut in strips
1 cup onion, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
4 ounce mushrooms, sliced
4 ounce snow pea pods
1/2 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup red pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Beef & Vegetable Stir Fry

  1. Directions: put 2 tablespoons of oil into a wok. swirl around and heat over medium high heat, just until smoking.

  2. add the beef, and cook for a couple of minutes.

  3. add the vegetables. usually you'd do it in small batches, but i dump them all in, and be sure to stir them around so they don't burn, and they are stir-fried equally.

  4. cover with the lid to help heat through (if the wok is too full). Again, stir a lot!

  5. Add one package of stir fry seasoning mixed with 2 Tablespoons of water. There is no nutritional value to this, and the dry package is 15 calories. I didn't have a way to add this. You can find them in the Asian aisle of your grocery store.

  6. Enjoy with brown rice. A VERY healthy, delicious meal, ready in 15 minutes.
