Similar to skinny soup but altered slightly and with meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef and vegetable soup

6 cups beef broth or 2 packs french onion soup mix with 4 cups of water and 2 cups beef broth
16 ounce steak (chopped into bite size pieces and trim fat off)
28 ounces diced tomato (with juice)
4 cups chopped cabbage
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup chopped green bell peppers
1 cup chopped zucchini
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 salt
1 pepper
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Beef and vegetable soup

  1. 1)Prep all the ingredients.

  2. 2)In a skillet brown steak in olive oil with garlic. Once browned add carrots and onions saute for 5 minutes. While carrots, onions, garlic, and steak are cooking combind all other ingredients in a large pot and start to bring to a boil.

  3. 3)Once the 5 minutes is up add garlic, steak, carrots, onions, and any juice to the pot and simmer for 2 hours.
