Recipe Ingredients for beef-vegetable pot pie

1 pound lean ground beef
8 ounces fresh mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups peas and carrots, frozen
10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup, reduced-sodium
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
8 ounce crescent rolls, reduced fat

Recipe Directions for beef-vegetable pot pie

  1. heat oven to375.

  2. brown meat in cast iron skillet. add onion and mushrooms; cook 8-10 min til no liquid from mushrooms. stir in peas and carrots and soup. bring to boil. add cheese; stir. remove from heat. put crescent rolls, unrolled, over top of filling. bake12-15 min. til golden brown. let stand 5 min.
