Lasagna made with a beef mince and vegetable filling and topped with bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef and Vegetable Lasagna (without Cheese Sauce)

450 g beef mince
125 g lasagna
2 carrots, finely chopped
3 courgettes, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
400 g Italian tomatoes
3/4 cup broccoli, diced
1/2 brown onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup bread crumbs
6 tbsp parmesan, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp black pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Beef and Vegetable Lasagna (without Cheese Sauce)

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sautee garlic, onions.

  2. Add mince and cook until light brown.

  3. Add canned tomatoes, vegetables, sugar, pepper and simmer until vegetables are cooked.

  4. In an oven-proof dish, alternate with layers of lasagna, mince/vege filling. Parmesan can be added on top of the mince/vege filling.

  5. Finish with mince/vege layer. Lightly cover the top of the lasagna with bread crumbs, parmesan.

  6. Bake 180 degrees celcius for 20 mins
