Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Turkey Tacos

1/2 lb (85/15) ground beef
1/2 lb ground turkey, frozen
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbs chili powder
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 cup lettuce, shredded
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
12 (6") corn tortillas
8 oz tomato sauce
1/2 cup jalapenos, sliced
16 oz refried beans

Recipe Directions for Beef & Turkey Tacos

  1. Brown ground beef & turkey. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili.

  2. Heat refried beans in microwave on high for 3 minutes

  3. Heat tomato sauce in saucepan with jalopenos

  4. Deep fry tortillas, drain, pat with paper towel, fold in "U" shape to dry.

  5. Add refried beans, meat, jalapeno/tomato sauce, cheese, onion, tomatoes and lettuce.

  6. Eat
