Recipe Ingredients for Beef Taco Skillet

16 oz Ground Beef
8 oz can Tomato Sauce
1 large Onion, diced
2 medium Green Bell Peppers, diced
4 servings Minced Garlic
15 oz can Pinto Beans
3 pepper Jalapeno Peppers, minced
8 oz Salsa
1 cup Water
3 tsp Garlic Powder
3 tsp Onion Powder
9 tsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Dried Parsley
3 servings (6) Carlita Corn Tortillas, cut into 1 inch pieces

Recipe Directions for Beef Taco Skillet

  1. Cook beef, onions and green peppers in a large skillet until beef is browned, stirring to break up meat. Pour off the fat.

  2. Add in the garlic, jalapeno and spices, let cook another minute. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, salsa, water and tortillas. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes Stir.

  3. This is great topped with cheese and sour cream.
