Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Serve over rice and season to taste with salt and pepper. I usually add garlic and cayenne as well.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stroganoff

2 cups mushrooms
4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 lb. beef
1 onion
2 carrots
3 tbsp flour
3/4 cup sour cream

Recipe Directions for Beef Stroganoff

  1. Saute the mushrooms in the butter. Add the milk.

  2. Saute the onions and beef. Add the carrots.

  3. Combine the two mixtures.

  4. Add flour and let simmer for for 10 minutes to thicken.

  5. Take off heat and stir in sour cream.

  6. Serve over rice.
