Beef stroganoff with mushrooms on pasta.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stroganoff

500 g pasta
500 g beef
200 g mushrooms
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
1 cup onions
6 tbsp oil
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
5 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp ketchup
3 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Beef Stroganoff

  1. Slice beef and coat with 2tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper.

  2. In a different pot, boil 500g of pasta.

  3. Stir fry beef in high heat with 6 tbsp oil. While beef cooks prepare mushrooms and half an onion and toss in when beef is half cooked. Turn heat to medium, add oregano, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.

  4. When onions are soft and mushrooms are cooked, add beef broth and milk. Turn to low heat, whisk in the rest of the cornstarch to thicken sauce.

  5. Turn off heat and toss in pasta into sauce.
