Beef Stir-Fry Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stir-Fry

3 tbsp Canola Oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 lb Beef - Strips, For Stir Fry, Raw
1 tsp Black Pepper, ground
1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
2 medium Carrots, thinly sliced diagonally
1 cup Cauliflower, florets
1 medium Onion, cut into 1 inch chunks
12 oz Mushrooms - Raw, sliced
1 cup Brocolli, florets
284 g Baby Corn - Asian Items, cut
227 g Water Chestnuts, sliced
14 oz Beef Broth
2 tbsp Corn Starch
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 stalks Celery - Raw, sliced diagonally
1 medium Green Pepper, cut into 1 inch chunks

Recipe Directions for Beef Stir-Fry

  1. Combine beef broth, corn starch and soy sauce in a 2 cup measure; mix well.

  2. Heat oil over medium high heat in a large deep skillet or wok

  3. Add gaarlic to hot oil, stir fry 30 seconds.

  4. Add beef strips, black pepper and ginger. Stir fry until beef is browned on all sides.

  5. Add carrots and stir fry for 2 minutes.

  6. Add cauliflower, onion, mushrooms and brocolli; stir fry until vegetables are tender crisp.

  7. Add water chestnuts and baby corn.

  8. Stir beef broth mixture and add to vegetables; stir until sauce thickens.

  9. Add celery and green pepper; cook for one more minute.

  10. Remove from heat; serve over rice.
