Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stir Fry

7 oz lean sirloin
2 oz green pepper strips
2 oz red pepper
2 oz yellow pepper
2 oz sliced onion
4 oz broccoli
3/4 c low sodium beef broth
2 tbls low sodium soy sauce
1 tbls corn starch
1/4 tsp fresh ginger root
1/8 tsp dry mustard
1 tbls olive oil

Recipe Directions for Beef Stir Fry

  1. Slice sirloin into very thin 2 inch strips

  2. Slice all peppers into thin stir fry strips

  3. In small bowl or cup, combine broth, soy sauce, corn starch, ginger and mustard. Set aside.

  4. In wok or fry pan heat oil and add beef strips cooking until brown. Remove from pan and set aside.

  5. In remaining oil add vegetables and stir fry until crisp tender.

  6. Return beef to pan with vegetables and add broth mixture stirring to coat completely.

  7. Lower heat and simmer until heated thouroughly; then serve immediately.
