Recipe Ingredients for Beef stew/Soup

4 cups beef broth
1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
1/2 medium rutabaga, washed, peeled & diced
1 carrot, washed, peeled & diced
1 celery stalk, washed, peeled & diced
1/2 medium onion, washed, peeled & diced
1 medium turnip, washed, peeled & diced
1 medium sweet potato, washed, peeled & diced
2 tbsp flour
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Beef stew/Soup

  1. Gather materials, clean crockpot

  2. Wash, peel and dice vegetables to similar sizes

  3. Toss beef with flour, spices & salt. Let sit for 30 min to 8 hours in fridge.

  4. Mix vegetables & beef in crockpot, add broth & adjust seasoning if needed.

  5. Turn crockpot on low & for 6-9 hours.
