Hearty Meal that freezes well. Serving 1.5 cups

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

20 oz raw Bottom Round Rump Roast
1 1/2 cup, chopped Onions
2 cup, diced Celery
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 medium raw Turnip
25 oz Carrots, Baby
4 cup Frozen Green Peas
3 cup Beans, Snap, Green
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
1/4 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Chop roast into bite size cubes and brown in oil.

  2. Add onions.

  3. Add 3 cups of water to pan and stir in the browns from the pan.

  4. Transfer beef/onions and browns to a slow cooker.

  5. Add celery and turnip to pot.

  6. Simmer for 3-4 hours.

  7. Mix flour with 4 cups (or more) of water and add to pot.

  8. Add carrots and simmer till almost tender,

  9. Add remaining vegetables.
