Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

16 oz Beef, Round, Top Round
24 oz Potatoes
16 oz Carrots
2 cup, cubes Turnips
1 tsp Salt, Table
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tbsp. butter
1 large Onions

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Cut steak in bite size pieces. Cut onions, add salt & pepper. Cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 2 hours, until meat is tender. Add vegetables. Cook for about an hour. Add butter. Makes 10 - 1 cup serving.
