beef stew - hearty meal. Reduce amount of potatoes to lower calories. The potatoes were 6 small Yukon gold which I quartered.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

0.25 cup Whole Wheat Flour
279 grams Beef Stew Meat
131 grams Onions
227 grams Mushrooms
2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
2 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
674 grams Yukon Gold Potatoes

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. 279 grams stew meat

  2. Roll the meat in the flour and brown in the EVOO

  3. Add onions and celery

  4. Add mushrooms

  5. Add soy and worcestershire sauce

  6. Scrape down sides and bottom of pan to get all crispy brown bits up

  7. Add carrots and potatoes

  8. Add broth

  9. Cover and simmer for 60 minutes or so.
