Recipe Ingredients for Beef stew

678 g stewing beef
1/2 lb potato
1/2 lb sweet potato
175 g carrots
1 onion
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup red wine
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
8 cloves garlic
2 tbsp flour
1 cup peas

Recipe Directions for Beef stew

  1. brown beef in batches

  2. add onion, cook 10 min

  3. add flour

  4. add wine & stock

  5. add spices and garli

  6. bring to boil, then cook in 275 oven approx 2 hours

  7. add veggies and more liquid if needed

  8. continue cooking until beef is shredded
