Meat was very lean elk Added seasonings such as garlic, bay leaf, pepper, sea salt to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

1 lb of stew meat
2 large potatoes
2 large carrots
1 large yellow onion
22 oz beef broth
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 cup flour

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Lightly coated meat w/flour

  2. Heat small stock pot with olive oil

  3. Browned meat

  4. Add all veggies & cook for about 5 min

  5. Add beef broth

  6. Season to taste

  7. Let cook on low 4 - 6 hours
