Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

3 1/2 c. beef broth
15 oz tomato soup
15 oz tomato sauce
6 lb beef stew meat
4 carrots
4 celery stalks
1/2 c. onion
1 tblsp salt
1/2 tblsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. sprinkle meat with 1/2 T. salt and 1/2 T. pepper, brown and drain

  2. mix broth, soup, sauce and onions in a large pot

  3. bring to a boil and add the meat

  4. boil for about an hour

  5. add chopped carrots, chopped celery

  6. boil, stirring occasionally until the carrots are tender
