Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

1 lb beef
9 small onions
4 stalks celery
12 small white potatoes
12 Mushrooms, Brown, Italian
1/2 cup Corn Flour, Masa, Enriched
3 carrots
2 cups Soup, stock, chicken, home-prepared
1/4 cup peanut oil
1 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. season the masa with old bay and some cayenne

  2. lightly dredge the beef in the masa

  3. brown in the oil

  4. add to crock pot

  5. add stock to crock pot

  6. heat the pat of butter in skillet

  7. add vegetables except mushrooms and sautee until fragrant

  8. add to crock pot

  9. deglase pot with 2 cups filtered water and add to crock pot

  10. add filtered water until all ingredients are covered

  11. add mushrooms one hour before serving
