This is one of my standard crock pot dishes for the fall and winter. My kids get tired of it, but I love the beef and veggies...especially potatoes!

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

17 ounces stew meat
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2/3 cup corn
2 1/2 cups potatoes, chopped
1 1/2 cups carrots, chopped
1 cup vegetable stock, organic
2/3 cup sweet peas
1 tbls flour

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Place beef and onions in the crock pot. Season with your favorite spices.

  2. Cook for at least 1 hour on high before you add the rest of the vegetables (excluding peas) and stock.

  3. Cook for an additional 3-4 hours.

  4. Mix flour with about 1/2 cup of water and pour into stew to thicken sauce.

  5. Add in peas, allow to heat through and serve.
