Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

2 T olive oil
1 lb chuck roast
1 medium onion
1/4 c red bell pepper
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
4 garlic cloves
3 T dry red wine
1 T Worchestershire sauce
1 large tomatoe
1/4 tsp fresh ginger
2 medium red potatos
2 medium carrots
1 medium squash
1/2 c. raw brown rice

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

Sautee onion, red peppe, garlic and ginger in olvie oil. Add meat, browning; add tomatoes, 8 cups water, seasonings and vegetables. Cook till meat is tender or transfer to crock pot.
