2 tbsp corn starch
4 cups water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
2 stalks celery
500 g red potatoes
3 small onions
15 g garlic cloves
1 green bell peppers
3 tablespoons water

  3. 1 lbs boneless chuck roast

  4. 2 tbsp corn starch - 70 cal - 20g

  5. 4 cups water

  6. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  7. 2 teaspoons salt

  8. 1 teaspoon garlic salt

  9. 3/4 teaspoon pepper

  10. 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

  11. 2 bay leaves

  12. 4 carrots, scraped - 112 g

  13. 2 stalks celery - 34 g

  14. 500 g red potatoes

  15. 3 small onions - 210 g

  16. 2 garlic cloves

  17. 1 green bell peppers - 119 g

  18. 3 tablespoons water

  19. Preparation

  20. Trim fat from roast; cut roast into 1-inch cubes.

  21. Pour oil into a large Dutch oven; place over medium-high heat until hot.

  22. Add beef, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned.

  23. Add 4 cups water and next 6 ingredients; bring to a boil.

  24. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 2 hours or until tender.

  25. Cut carrots and celery into 2-inch lengths.

  26. Peel potatoes; cut potatoes and onions into eighths.

  27. Cut bell pepper into 1-inch pieces.

  28. Add carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, and bell peppers to beef mixture; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

  29. Combine 2tablespoons corn starch and 3 tablespoons water, stirring well; stir into stew.

  30. Bring to a boil; boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thickened and bubbly.
