A simple, delicious recipe to layer in your crockpot before heading out the door, and come home to in the evening. Pair with a crusty piece of bread and a salad, and you have a complete meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

2 lbs. stew beef
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. paprika
2 c. chopped carrots
3 c. chopped potatoes
1 c. condensed beef broth
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 lg. onion
8 oz. tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Layer potatoes, then carrots.

  2. Top with meat; sprinkle meat with soy sauce, salt, paprika, pepper & flour.

  3. Spread with chopped onions.

  4. Combine beef broth & tomato sauce & pour overall.

  5. Cover & cook on low 7 - 8 hrs. or high 4 - 5 hrs.
