Cut steak into bite-size pieces and brown.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef stew

4 oz steak (browned)
6 cups beef broth
2 potatoes
1/4 turnip
2 carrots
1/2 c green beans
1 onion
1/2 c peas
1 stalk celery
1/3 c flour

Recipe Directions for Beef stew

  1. Cook meat in beef broth at medium heat for 1/2 hour.

  2. Add veggies (except for peas if frozen, just throw in at the end)

  3. When veggies tender, remove from broth.

  4. Thicken broth with flour and water.

  5. Add veggies and meat back into the gravy.
