Hearty Beef Stew, With lots of veggies. Great winter meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew

900 g Beef, Chuck, Tender Steak
1 c Celery, diced
1 1/2 c Leek, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
1 Tomato
2 Carrots
1 c Parsnips, Raw, Slices
2 Red onions
2 1/2 c Potatoes

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew

  1. Chop Veggies small

  2. Slice potatoes thickly

  3. Braise Beef

  4. Braise veggies (except potatoes)

  5. Put all in slow cooker, add 5 C water/beef stock. Add lots of pepper.

  6. Cook for 7 hours.
