Easy beef stew you can make with leftover roast

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Stew with Dumplings

1/2 lb beef roast
2 cans beef broth
1 med onion
5 small potatoes
1 lb frozen mixed veggies
2 cups baking mix
2 cups water
2/3 cup 2% milk
2 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Beef Stew with Dumplings

  1. Cut up left over roast, potatoes and onion

  2. simmer in pot with beef broth and water for 45 min

  3. on side mix baking mix with milk

  4. add frozen veggies

  5. when stew is to correct thickness, thicken with flour if needed, spoon dumpling mix on top

  6. cover let simmer
