This is a meditarian dish that I grew up eating all my life, I like to enjoy it once a week or two weeks because it is very high in Iron.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Spinach with Rice

14 cups Spinach
1/4 lbs Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Patty
2 medium onions
10 cloves garlic
2 tbsp canola oil
1 tbsp cilantro leaves
1 oz lemon
2 cups long grain rice
3 cups of water
1 tsp of sea salt
1 tsp of allspice
1 tsp canola oil
1 tbsp semolina

Recipe Directions for Beef & Spinach with Rice

  1. In a large pot and on the stove, add the oil then onions, garlic together until golden color. Add the ground beef until both ingredience are browned a bit then add the spinach, cilantro and sea salt, all spice then add 3 cups of water and let it cook for 30-40 minutes.

  2. Cook the rice alone:

  3. In a medium pot add 1 tsp of canola then add semolina until it is lightly golden in color. After that add 2 cups of long grain rice, add a dash of sea salt mix it all together and smoother the rice with water. Let it cook for 20-25 minutes. In the first 5-7 minutes stir it all up again and when it goes on boil then reduce the head so it simmers until it is finished. If it needs more water then do that but the rice shouldn't be over-cooked.
