Recipe Ingredients for Beef Pot Roast

3 3/4 pounds boneless beef chuck roast
1 onion, cut in medium wedges
1 lb carrots, chopped
7 potatoes, cubed
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup Merlot
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Beef Pot Roast

  1. Layer roast, potatoes, carrots, onion and garlic in slow cooker.

  2. Mix Seasoning, water and wine until blended. Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover.

  3. Cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Remove roast and vegetables to serving platter. Stir sauce before serving.
