Standard pasta sauce with Peppers included for bulk, to reduce the amount of beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef and pepper pasta sauce

1 large onion, diced
1 medium red pepper
1 medium green pepper
2 cloves of garlic
1 (400g) chopped tomatoes
500 g beef mince
50 g tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Beef and pepper pasta sauce

  1. Dice the onions and dry fry till softened, in a deep pan.

  2. Place pan over moderate heat and add all the beef, then cover and leave to cook through for approx 5 mins.

  3. Add all remaining ingredients and leave to cook on a low heat for about 30 mins - less if the peppers are desired a bit crunchy.
