Recipe Ingredients for Beef and Noodles

40 oz (2.5 lbs) raw Trimmed Top Round Roast
1 1/4 cup Original Egg Beaters
3 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
10 cup (8 fl oz) Soup, Beef Broth, Cubed

Recipe Directions for Beef and Noodles

  1. Combine egg beaters and 2 1/2cups of flour. Roll out sticky dough, adding upto an addt'l 1/2 cup of flour. Let dry about an hour.

  2. Meanwhile, brown roast on all sides.

  3. Place in a crock pot in a small amount of liquid for many hours.

  4. Turn dough and let dry about an hour.

  5. Cut dough into noodles.

  6. Boil in water until tender.

  7. Remove roast and cut or tear into pieces.

  8. Add cooked noodles, beef, and broth to crock pot and reduce heat to low.

  9. Serve over mashed potatoes.
