Recipe Ingredients for Beef w/ mushrooms

220 g beef
100 g mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, diced
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt, coarse
1 tsp cracked black pepper
3 pinches garlic powder
1 cup beef broth (1 cube filled to top)
1 1/2 tbsp flour (1.5-2)
1 1/2 tbsp sour cream (1.5-2)

Recipe Directions for Beef w/ mushrooms

  1. Tenderize and flatten beef to 1 cm thickness.

  2. Season with coarse salt and pepper. Cut to smaller pieces if necessary.

  3. Heat pan (on 7) and then add oil, reduce to 5. heat for a minute and add beef. Cook 2 minutes each side, or until brown.

  4. Remove beef, cover with foil.

  5. Add onions to pan, fry for 3 minutes.

  6. Add mushrooms and a little broth. Deglaze pan and cook mushrooms for 3 minutes.

  7. Add beef, and 4/5 of broth. Add some more water if needed.

  8. Cover, bring to boil and then simmer on low heat for 45 minutes.

  9. Simmer on higher heat for 10-15 minutes.

  10. Mix flour with remaining broth, and add to beef when done. Heat for a minute.

  11. Allow to cool a little and mix in cream. Serve.
